RIZZ RECORDS/ First time vinyl release covering their original EP Riftwood (1996) and single New boy (1998) plus a previously unreleased studio recording. First 50 copies come with a bonus CD version of the album with 3 extra bonus tracks including one brand new recording produced by Brian Cachia. Christ Art Museum evolved from Sydney based band Damnation fronted by Abby Tucker. Upon Abby leaving to pursue a solo career the band recruited former Tooth singer Scott James Smith to fill the void. After a few further line-up changes the band settled in with new drummer Syd Green (fresh out of Mantissa) and bassist Jason Klein (Would Gobblins). Further down the monster, sludgy guitar-riffing path opened up by guitarist Leigh Unger, the band crossed their love of grunge and metal and wrapped it in a twisted, industrially warped tone. Their first EP Riftwood produced by Michael Letho was an inspired piece of work, leading to original bass Player Andreas Lanz returning to the fold for their next single release New Boy.
